What is GREEN?
Green, eco-friendly, earth friendly, and environmentally friendly are synonyms used to refer to goods and services considered to inflict minimal or no harm on the environment. Green also refers to environmentally friendly practices – those everyday things we do to save energy and the planet. The wordgreen is closely related to the Old English verb growan, “to grow”. It is used to describe plants or the ocean. The most common associations are found in its ties to nature. Green is also associated with regeneration, fertility and rebirth for its connections to nature.
Jabberblabber Magazine is an Earth Friendly publication. It is printed on recycled paper with natural inks. It’s front page has a recycle symbol with “Please recycle. We do.” In addition, there are many monthly features that teach children and adults ways to conserve energy and be more GREEN.
